THANK YOU, CES families, for an amazing Scholastic Book Fair! With all of your support we were able to earn $4043 Scholastic Dollars to purchase book through scholastic for the CES Library.
Mrs. Jones’s students had a special visitor today!
Local children’s book author Hannah Alford stopped by to share her book, Hannah’s Hero, about her late father, an Arkansas State Trooper. She talked with our students about the process of publishing a children’s book, what inspired her to write it, and what being a hero means to both her and them.
After our visit from the firefighters on Wednesday, this was the perfect way to wrap up our week! Our students were reminded that heroes aren’t just found in books; they’re all around us in our own community.

🎢 Magnolia Students Take on the SCSC Roller Coaster Competition! 🎢
5th grade SAGE members traveled to Camden, Arkansas, for the 5th and 6th grade SCSC Roller Coaster Competition, where eight teams put their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to the test!
Students arrived with their paper roller coaster pieces and were given just three hours to construct a working roller coaster. The challenge? They could use only paper, tape, scissors, rulers, a pen, and ONE marble! 🧠✂️📏
❤️ Magnolia Team 1 — Griffin Graham, Lawson Hudgens, and Bowen Phillips — had an outstanding showing, earning:
