Parent/Teacher Conferences Parent/Teacher Conferences will once again be held virtually for all Central Students. Conferences will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 3:30 to 6:30. Your child's teacher will contact you with information!

Magnolia Schools will resume all regular class schedules and bus routes tomorrow (2/24)

3rd Grade Science Fair Information Final Projects and Boards are due no later than 8:15 a.m. on March 1, 2021. If students have completed their boards, they can bring them to school any day this week. Boards cannot be dropped off by parents in the front office. Just a reminder, boards turned in after the due date will be graded, but will not be judged.

Transportation Update: Assume that most routes will be partial as buses WILL NOT travel on icy roads. The following routes will not run 2/23: Leaf Donkey

MPS will resume onsite instruction 2/23 with a one hour delayed start. Buses will run one hour later than normal. Buses WILL NOT travel down icy roads. Stayed tuned for a list of routes that will not run.

With more winter precipitation moving into our area the MPS will be closed for on-site instruction Thu., Feb. 18 and Fri., Feb. 19. Students and staff will continue with remote learning and instruction. All buildings will be closed. Be safe, stay warm and have fun.

MPS will pivot to Remote Learning through Wed., Feb. 17. While we realize the chances are high that conditions will not improve, we will continue to assess weather and roads and announce plans for remainder of the week on Wednesday. Please be safe and enjoy the snow!

Reminder to Parents February 12 - 15, 2021 are off-site, remote learning days. Students will complete their assignments at home. They will not come to school on those days.

Pink Goes Red at Central Elementary All staff and students are encouraged to wear RED tomorrow, February 4, 2021, in support of American Heart Awareness Month!

National School Counselor Week in Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson has proclaimed the week of February 1-5, 2021 as National School Counselor Week in Arkansas to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within the U.S. school system and how students are different because of what they do. National School Counseling Week highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students meet their college and career aspirations. The Magnolia School District recognizes the contributions of nine school counselors employed by the District. Each day these counselors make significant contributions to lives of our children. The District greatly appreciates the remarkable work these counselors do to provide a positive influence on the future of all students. Magnolia Public Schools 4th - 6th Grade Spelling Bee Congratulations to the following students who will be competing in the Spelling Bee, January 26, 2021. The Spelling Bee will be conducted virtually through the Scripps National Spelling Bee Platform. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, family members will not be allowed to attend.
