East Side staff is proud to be Drug Free!

2nd grade won’t get mixed up in drugs! #redribbonweek

Recently we received a delivery of handmade stress balls from the clients at Magnolia Specialized Services! Our staff felt so honored by this gift! It was fun to thank these Panthers in person who are working so hard to give back to the community! East Side is proud of you!

We are proud of our very own SAU Teacher Intern, Emily McFerren! She represented the student body as a homecoming royalty at Thursday’s festivities!

Report cards go home today!

Music and Art collab! 🎨🎵
Wassily Kandinsky was an artist who could 'see colors' when he heard music. So we're doing our own Kandinsky-inspired masterpieces!
Mrs. Denmon's class listened to a variety of music and chose the colors that the music 'sounded like' to them.
They used those colors to create concentric circles like in Kandinsky's piece 'Color Study, Squares with Concentric Circles' from 1913. (You can see it in the last image.)
They did a great job!

We had the cutest delivery today from the Adult Clients at Magnolia Specialized Services! They said, “We appreciate all you do for our community and for us, and wanted to give back.”
Needless to say, the staff were excited to get their handmade stress balls!

East Side Says "BOO" to drugs! Red Ribbon Week Dress Up Days! October 26-30!

We got BOO-ed! Thanks, Collin Waters!

We love the Mulerider Treat Trolly!

From our great friends at Southern Arkansas University:
Good Afternoon!
As we near Halloween, we know that it is important to retain some bit of normalcy in a year that has challenged every bit of normal. We know that some have reservations about Trick or Treating and others want to make every occasion extra special because of all that has been lost this year. Either way, the Southern Arkansas University Athletic Department and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee has you covered! All proceeds from this event, will be donated to Magnolia Specialized Services!
BOO MY YARD!
We will bring Halloween, and Trick or Treating, to you!
We are offering several different options, along with delivery within a 15 mile radius of SAU.
The last day to sign up is October 27, 2020
Please visit https://web.saumag.edu/boo/, or contact Sage Woodham (nswoodham@saumag.edu), for more information!
Happy Halloween!

Happy Boss’s Day to the head honcho! We appreciate what you do for Panther Nation!
