National School Counselor Week in Arkansas
Governor Asa Hutchinson has proclaimed the week of February 1-5, 2021 as National School Counselor Week in Arkansas to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within the U.S. school system and how students are different because of what they do. National School Counseling Week highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students meet their college and career aspirations.
The Magnolia School District recognizes the contributions of nine school counselors employed by the District. Each day these counselors make significant contributions to lives of our children. The District greatly appreciates the remarkable work these counselors do to provide a positive influence on the future of all students. The Magnolia School District counselors include:

• Valentine’s Day parties February 11 all at 2:00pm. Parents note: In an effort to ensure safety measures are followed, all party supplies and treats must be sent with your child to school. Deliveries at the front will not be accepted.
• No school for students or staff February 12 and 15. (Virtual Learning Days)

Help us welcome student intern Holly Pennington to Mrs. Neal’s Turtle class! She is finishing her degree in Elementary Education K-6 STEM. She is graduating a year early 👏🏻 and would love to teach kindergarten!
Help us welcome Courtney Hunter to the Candy Land Room! She is finishing her degree in K-6 Elementary Education STEM! She has always loved working with children, especially kindergarteners! We feel certain she will love her Kindergarten sweeties!
