Magnolia, Arkansas — Magnolia School District proudly recognizes Lee Ketchum for receiving an invitation to attend a special Arkansas Educator Appreciation Reception at the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion in Little Rock on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

The reception, hosted by Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and First Gentleman Bryan Sanders, featured Second Lady of the United States Usha Vance as a special guest. The event recognized Arkansas merit pay recipients, educators, and education leaders for their contributions to education and student success across the state.

Ketchum received the invitation as a 2025–2026 Arkansas Excellence in Teaching Fellow, joining fellow educators for an afternoon dedicated to celebrating the important role teachers play in shaping the future of Arkansas students.

The reception provided an opportunity to recognize the dedication, leadership, and commitment of educators who work each day to make a difference in the lives of their students.

Ketchum's participation in this special event is another example of the outstanding educators who serve the students and families of Magnolia School District. Her commitment to maintaining high expectations while ensuring students feel supported, encouraged, and valued reflects the district's mission of All Belong. All Learn. All Succeed.

The Magnolia School District congratulates Ketchum on this special recognition and celebrates the opportunity for her to represent Magnolia alongside educators and education leaders from across Arkansas.
