I have taught at Central Elementary since the spring semester of 2006 where I started as a literacy intervention teacher. The following fall I started as a full time 4th grade teacher where I taught all subjects. Several years ago we became departmentalized and I teach math, science and social studies now. I have had ten great years at Central Elementary and looking forward to the next ten.
I have been married to my husband, Ronald, for 32 years. We were blessed with three beautiful children, Victoria (deceased), Mario and Cecely. Mario and Cecely are adults with lives of their own. We also have two beautiful granddaughters, Londyn and Brynlee. We also have a puppy, Flossie, that is 3 months old.
I have several things that I like to do when I am not working. First, I love spending time with my family. I have a rather large family. I like to read and I spend a lot of time reading blogs. The blogs take backseat to a really great book though. I like to read books with suspense and great detective themes. I have recently started to craft some. I love working with vinyl and learning to create crafty gifts for family and friends. I have even made a couple of t-shirts for my granddaughter.
